Looking at WN8 gives much more a consistent metric that's largely independent of what the matchmaker is throwing you, although the value of that is compromised when you start chasing it as an end in itself because it's mostly about the things that can be tracked and chief among those is the damage that you do.ĭoing damage is important but it's only one of many things you can do to improve your chances of winning. However, with the nature of the matchmaker giving you streaks of wins and losses regardless of how good you are, it's rather difficult to interpret that in the short term. In the long run, win rate is a far better indicator of how good you are than WN8. Put up some replays.Įdited post so profanity filter can properly work.Įdited by neokai, 22 July 2019 - 11:04 AM. If you really want to improve, you have to own up to your ups, that way you can learn from them. Do not rush to a location early on that you can not escape from, you don't know what your team are doing yet, and you don't know what the enemy is doing or how many tanks you will be fighting. Are they camping? Are they doing a lemming train? What they do is going to dictate what you have to do. Some general advice, watch the mini map regularly and watch what your team do and the positions they are taking. Looking at your stats, your damage per game and survival rate is pretty low, I'm guessing you are too aggressive too early? The more you do per battle, the less the rest of your team has to do to secure the win. That way you gave as good as you got, and were not a burden on your team. I would however worry about win rate. As a general rule, doing your tanks hp in damage would be a good goal. If I didn't do that, and instead fell back to farm damage, I would have got more wn8, but who knows if we would have won. I had a game yesterday in my Skorp G on Prok where I had to passive spot on the hill, only did 2 shots of damage, but got over 5k assistance. Yes damage is im portant, but its not the only thing that wins games. I would not really worry about WN8, as it only cares about damage.
